PLAYER PROFILES
Dianne DeNecochea

Dianne DeNecochea attended the University of Tennessee where she was a two-time first team All Conference Selection in addition to receiving Academic Athlete of the Year Honors. After graduating, Dianne turned professional playing nationally in the Major League Volleyball league before heading to Europe to play in Switzerland with Uni Basel and in Belgium with Dauphine.  Dianne then returned to the United States to compete in the sand for the first time with the 4 Woman Pro Beach Volleyball League, she led Team Paul Mitchell to two consecutive championships in 1996 and 1997 before returning to Europe for one season to play with powerhouse Cemar Volleyball in Italy.  DeNecochea began playing full-time on the AVP tour in 2001, capturing her first tournament win with partner Liz Masakayan at the Santa Barbara Open and a Bronze Medal at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour season finale in Fortaleza, Brazil.   DeNecochea has finished the season ranked in the top 11 in four of the past five years. 

Said has coached some of the top players in the AVP Tour and Club Volleyball.

 

 
 
Tammy Liebl

Tammy Liebl was chosen PAC-Ten Player of the Decade after playing collegiate volleyball at Arizona State.  Liebl has a vast amount of international playing experience.  She has competed in three Olympics (1988, 1992 and 1996) and has played in more than 400 matches for USA Volleyball.  Liebl is a member of the American 1992 Bronze-Medal-Winning Team in Barcelona.  She also won a Bronze medal at the 1990 World Championships.  Leibl competes professionally on the AVP Tour.  She also played professionally in Italy and Brazil.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pat Keller

Pat Keller graduated from in 1990 from the University of South Florida.  She was a member of the volleyball team that won the Sun Belt Conference volleyball title three consecutive seasons.  Keller has been playing pro beach volleyball for nine seasons.  Her best career finish was a second in a 1996 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour event in Japan.  Pat is third in career AVP tournaments played.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Avalon Preisendorfer Avalon Preisendorfer is an alum of Coast Volleyball Club where she played for three years.  In 2004, Avalon was selected Western League Rookie of the year.  She was an honor roll student at La Jolla High School and graduated in 2006.  Avalon is a freshman at Cal State Long Beach and is an outside hitter on their volleyball team.
